The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) Key Account Sales Manager CBG, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Lead 3M Staples Delivery Team, supervising sales reps, analysts, and sales supervisors on the team and acts as primary contact and driver within Staples Contract and Staples.com organization.
  • Attain sales forecast for 3M CBG, CFM, and dual credit partners.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to management.
  • Develop account relationships across Merchandising, Replenishment, Marketing, and Business Operations within Staples teams.
  • Develops and implements sales plan, this includes management of promotional programs and spending and executing CBG and CFM partners product priorities.
  • Thorough understanding of Staples delivery and e-commerce channels and partners.
  • Understanding of future looking channel and competitive merchandising innovations and tactics.
  • Work with marketing manufacturing and supply chain to manage product inventory at account through effective sales and operational planning
  • Manage assigned budget for sales reductions and promotional spending

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Seven (7) years of business to business (B2B) sales experience including key account sales management in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Five (5) years of sales people management experience
  • Current, valid Driver’s License is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum twelve years of business to business (B2B) sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Proficient business acumen to include working with pricing, customer profitability, and financial impact of business decisions on distribution

Location: Westborough, MA (or Remote)

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic travel

Relocation: Is not authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
