Job Description:

The person hired for the position of Process Information & Control Solutions Engineer (Naju Plant) will be responsible for providing effective control system solutions for a wide variety of new or existing automated process equipment that is used to manufacture 3M products. Required technologies include motion control, human machine interface, PLC control, drives,
sensors and measurement devices, Network interfacing, data acquisition from PLC, MES and SCADA system.

Roles and Responsibilities:
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for the specification, design, and integration of control systems used to manufacture 3M products. Specific
responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Development and design of the control system architecture

• Control systems cost estimate and schedule development

• Hardware purchasing and control panel build

• PLC and HMI programming & system integration

• Machine commissioning, start up, and check-out & Assist in the

• implementation of site specific safety programsExperience in Data acquisition from PLC and field devices and network

• interfacing.

• Experience in Windows Server setup , MS SQL, OPC, AIP interfacing

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Control Engineering Technology

• Experienced with machine control system design and commissioning in a manufacturing industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Greater than Five (5) years of experience working with machine control systems, or equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing industry.

• Experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens controls systems and hardware

• Strong oral and written in English and communications skills
