We are seeking a self-motivated Sales Representative, with proven account development and negotiation skills to join our team to drive new sales growth for our Industrials Adhesives & Tape Division in Victoria & South Australia. This highly sought after opportunity will be focused on the execution of sales into a broad range of industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Display & Signage and Transportation. Market leading products in this range include 3M™ VHB™ Tape, 3M™, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™, 3M™ Thin Bonding Tape and 3M™ Spray Adhesives.
This opportunity will see you:
Identify new business opportunities and develop a strong pipeline of opportunities to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Further develop your existing selling skills and passion for your sales career.
Use your experience or understanding of the industrial markets as an advantage to secure new business opportunities and develop existing ones.
Work collaboratively with existing and new key accounts to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and help solve these with 3M solutions.
Prepare clear plans with major key accounts (Channel & End-user) detailing main objectives, strategies & tactics, and track progress against these through relevant KPI targets.
Who you are:
Minimum 5 years in a professional Sales role.
Experience in selling as a self-starter and self-sufficient.
Experience in selling in Industrial markets strongly required with contacts across multiple large End-users a bonus.
Experience in selling either Industrial Adhesives or Industrial Tapes preferred.
A problem-solving mindset with the capability to understand relevant industrial manufacturing processes and to provide a solutions-based approach to meeting their needs.
Self-motivated with a competitive nature and a desire to win.
Experienced with use of CRM applications e.g. Salesforce.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both externally and internally.
Possesses the ability to effectively manage a territory remotely, with the flexibility to conduct in-person visits every 8-12 weeks.
