The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Quality Engineer in 3M lab, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
• Driving customer complaint investigations, supporting customer interactions and communications in issue resolution.
• Serving as the quality gatekeeper for the CMP team and responsible for reviewing, revising, and approving quality reports for customers, etc.
• Collaborating with the manufacturing and technical team to analyze, draft, develop, and finalize 8D reports.
• Collaborating with the manufacturing and sales team to respond to customer statistical process control (SPC) reviews.
• Acting as a liaison to convey the voice of the customer (VOC) to the manufacturing team and developing appropriate responses for customers.

Collaborate with the manufacturing and technical team to drive local continue improve plan (CIP) initiatives.

Your Skills and Expertise :
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) years of experience in a private, public, government environment in one of more of the following areas: gathering material process data, computer added design, product information, or material property information
• Two (2) years of combined engineering and/or academic research experience in semiconductor fabrication and/or electronic devices
• 3 Years’ hands on experience running CMP processes at a semiconductor manufacturing facility or as a quality engineer from consumables or tool supplier in CMP area

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
• Master’s or Doctorate’s degree in science or engineering discipline.
• Strong project/quality management skills.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and ability to work in collaborative team environment.
• Collaborative interpersonal style with experience leading project teams
• Passion and curiosity to address industry challenges
