We are seeking a dynamic Product Content Specialist to join our team, responsible for Asset and Content uploads to systems of record leveraging DAM, PCM, and PIM across brand, campaign, and eCommerce strategies for our Consumer Business group. Ensures metadata is optimized and complete, Assets are associated with relevant Items and new products are digitized as identified through various platforms within 3M.
This role involves utilizing corporate product information and digital asset management systems to oversee product marketing and product information throughout the product lifecycle, from new product introduction (NPI) to obsolescence. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal record systems, thrive in a rapidly evolving environment, and showcase keen attention to detail.
The Impact You’ll Make in This Role:
- Digital Asset Management: Work with PIM, DAM digitization resources, and other relevant teams to prioritize and validate digital asset requests. Ensure quality guidelines are met, gather accurate metadata, and assist with metrics reporting and process documentation.
- Product Data Management: Create, maintain, and manage product data in systems of record, including the 3M GPIM (Hybris) ecosystem, to support omni-channel digital presence. Monitor and prioritize product updates, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Content Management: Manage library of assets for assigned business team(s), flexing to support other business unit needs based on volume / prioritization. Serve as the content expert for the business team(s), responsible for Asset lifecycle, digital file management, governance, compliance archiving, managing asset metadata and keywords, and working with agencies to prepare and load files. Associate Assets to relevant SKUs. Ensure Assets meet quality expectations and remediate if necessary.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders, marketing and sales teams, information architects, and other cross-functional teams. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize requests based on business and customer needs.
- Process Improvement and Expertise Development: Streamline and improve processes continuously, becoming an expert in the 3M Global Product Hierarchy. Follow and enforce established processes related to data management, and lead onboarding and training for new team members.
- Communication and Support: Communicate actively with the Team Lead regarding performance and project progress. Attend relevant meetings, stay updated on best practices, and act as a backup for peers or the Team Lead when necessary. Support administrative tasks as identified by the Management Team.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Working knowledge and experience in Product Content and/or Digital Asset Management environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Prior experience in CPG companies, particularly in PIM,DAM or eCommerce roles, is preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal systems of record (e.g., SAP, Hybris, Adobe, HAMR, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of global product hierarchy systems and structures.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, include managing large datasets, utilizing formulas, formatting, creating pivot tables, and performing X lookups.
- Exceptional ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively to meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision and collaborate across various functions and organizational levels.
Work Location: This role follows an on-site working model, with the employee expected to be in the office at least four days per week in Sumaré/SP.
