Brief description of the role
Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world. As a CIP Analyst, you will help ensure the accurate compilation, organization, and reconciliation of customer incentive data (e.g., rebates and MDF) across CIP systems. In this role, you will manage MDF Proof-of-Performance (PoP) and related payment issues, resolve rebate payment inquiries, perform transactional updates using standard templates, and generate “as-is” reports to support timely payouts and customer satisfaction.
Main challenges
- Resolve MDF PoP and payment issues promptly and accurately.
- Troubleshoot and resolve rebate payment-related inquiries and errors.
- Maintain data quality standards across templates and systems.
- Execute day-to-day activities: Entry level to medium difficulty with guidance.
Main activities
- MDF PoP and payment issues: Collect, verify, and process PoP documents; track and resolve simple payment discrepancies; escalate complex cases.
- Rebate payment issues: Research and reconcile payment questions; coordinate with Finance/AR when needed; document case history.
- Transactional updates: Perform data uploads and system updates using prepared data and standard templates.
- Reporting: Pull and generate “as-is” status reports (payouts, open items, backlog).
- Exception handling: Own and take corrective action on low-to-medium priority exception reports.
- Continuous improvement: Capture and record improvement ideas; follow standard work.

Qualifications
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- A graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in data operations, finance operations, or customer support roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. • Customer service and quality-oriented mindset.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Exposure to incentive programs (rebates, MDF) and basic accounting concepts.
- Familiarity with ERP/CIP tools (e.g., SAP/Vistex) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Basic knowledge of Excel formulas, macros, or Power BI.
- Work schedule: Night shift will support LATAM
- Work setup: Hybrid/Remote
