Job Description:

Achieves sales objectives by providing independent sales coverage of assigned accounts or within assigned territory. Position intended for individuals experienced in sales and who have demonstrated effective use of selling skills and have consistently achieved or exceeded forecast over a sustained period of time. Primarily, manages sales territory with periodic supervision and assistance. When necessary, requests or receives assistance in handling situations which require either greater or different experience or knowledge as needed

Role & Responsibility

• Contribute to achievement of national sales targets for Personal Safety Division (PSD)

• Achieve individual sales and activity based goals for the territory

• Support and implement marketing programs

• Proactively develop and implement territory sales plan & IDP

• Establishes and enhances business relationships with key distributors and major end user accounts in sales territory

• Leverage management, marketing & technical staff to improve key business relationships and achieve sales targets

• Undertake project activities as required by division

Qualification.

• Higher School Certificate or equivalent

• Postgraduate qualifications would be highly regarded.

• 3-5 years Sales experience with proven results

• Key Account Management experience preferred but not mandatory

• Understand category management, motivational tools

• Basic understanding of finance, logistics, operations and good business acumen; SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS GAINED FROM COURSE WORK OR PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE

• The incumbent will ideally have formal business qualifications at a tertiary level or have achieved equivalence through diversified experience in industry and commerce.

• High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel analysis & Powerpoint required

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Excellent Presentation Skills

• Attention to detail

• Confident manner with internal team and external customers

• Problem solving ability & resourcefully innovative in order to fulfil customers requirements
