Plant HR Partner
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Plant HR Partner, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will develop people and organizational plans to support plant objectives. You will provide counsel and advisory support in cooperation with other pillars of HR.
Here, you will make an impact by evolving people strategies that reflect the talent markets, nurturing an engaging employee experience and supporting organizational transformation for plants located in Çerkezköy and Çorlu.
More specifically you will:
- Partner with the plant or functional leadership to support realization of people strategies and business goals.
- Implement people plans, driving best in class people management and organization effectiveness.
- Leverage people analytics and partner with plant leadership to define initiatives based on the plant needs. Support/lead locally relevant initiatives aligned to global / area priorities.
- Assist in resolving questions of supervisors and employees that are not addressed through other channels.
- Offer coaching & guidance to leaders and employees such as conflict resolution, performance management or HR policies, consult on employee issues or team dynamics.
- Reinforce location specific communication on all levels.
- Provide active leadership in industrial and labor relations, building and maintaining effective relationships with employee unions and employer union representatives.
- Act as a key HR contact in a unionized environment including day-to-day union interactions and supporting plant leadership in managing union relations.
- Partner with plant leadership to maintain a stable and harmonious industrial climate that supports plant performance.
- Address compensation practices and competitiveness in collaboration with SMEs.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to define recruiting strategy to address local labor needs and market conditions.
- Partner with Learning & Development to ensure appliable employee development and training programs.
- Ensure compliance in all activities including audits and government inquiries.
- Execute projects by providing HR expertise with focus on compliance, stakeholder management and effective communication to achieve desired results.
- Support leaders in managing employee relations topics on the shopfloor including disciplinary processes, grievances and conflict resolution
- Collaborate in broad range of other activities (generalist, administrative, payroll, job evaluations, etc.).
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Proven HR Partner experience in corporate manufacturing environment
- Industrial Relations experience in a complex manufacturing environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of labor legislation and the practical application of collective employment frameworks.
- Strong practical knowledge of Turkish labor law and experience applying it in a manufacturing environment
- Skilled at influencing and challenging status quo while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on active listening and consensus-building.
- Collaborative mindset by building trust and maintaining professional rapport across all levels of the organization
- Balanced judgment at maintaining neutrality and fairness while navigating complex organizational dynamics
- High level of self-regulation and the ability to de-escalate sensitive situations through calm and reasoned dialogue.
- Driven to make impact in collaboration with the team
- Adaptable and comfortable with change
- High integrity
- Fluency in English

Job specifics:
- Location in 3M Residence in Çerkezköy or Çorlu area is preferable
- Full-time and mainly on-site
