Supply Network Planner (m/f/x)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Supply Network Planner in Langenthal , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Plan Finished goods for EMEA in a Global Supply Chain, to achieve target service level within inventory and cost objectives

• Manage exceptions throughout the global distribution network determining how best to resolve supply constraints to balance service, inventory and cost in the best interest of the supply chain as a whole

• Be accountable for product availability at the right time and right distribution center

• Be accountable for inventory and NWI

• Optimize and maintain planning parameters, maintain master data in system and manage supply variability.

• Proactively communicate supply status and potential risks while leading issue resolution to ensure supply continuity

• Be part of S&OP for the division

• Collaborating with relevant stakeholders (EMEA and Global Business, Sourcing, Global Business Supply Chain, Manufactory, Logistics) to highlight and resolve gaps, challenges and operational performance issues

• Driving improvement activities for supply chain to improve lead-time to customers, service, inventory and cost.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university

• Relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning.

• Strong analytical skills

• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Fluent in English – spoken and written

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• SAP or other ERP system

• APICS

• Multi-cultural awareness and emotional intelligence

• Lean Six Sigma experience

Job specifics

• This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the 3M office at Langenthal

• Working pattern - full time
