The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
- Supporting global credit risk teams through comprehensive credit data analysis and assisting in the creation of effective portfolio problem‑solving models.
- Communicating insights and recommendations to key stakeholders and business partners, ensuring alignment, clarity, and informed decision‑making across functions.
- Participating in cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities and support initiatives that drive process improvements, centralization, and standardization.
- Assessing AR credit quality by analyzing aging, trends, performance metrics, and risk exposure, and delivering actionable recommendations to business leadership; supporting KPI reporting and management insights.
- Leading initiatives and projects aimed at strengthening credit risk management practices and optimizing working capital performance across the organization.
- Conducting in‑depth analysis of complex credit risk datasets to generate insights, produce reports, and support strategic, data‑driven decision making.
- Developing automated and insight‑oriented dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, or similar platforms to enhance accuracy, visibility, and operational efficiency.
- Implementing robust data integrity and quality assurance checks to ensure the reliability, consistency, and standardization of reporting outputs.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in data analytics, statistics, economics, finance, or a related field
- Six(6) or more years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or similar roles working with large and complex datasets in an organization
- Experience in Credit, Collections or Order to Cash
- Experience using SAP
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master’s degree in data analytics, statistics, economics, finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- Experience analyzing large datasets using mathematical, statistical, and quantitative techniques, including data mining and complex analysis
- Expertise in Power BI or similar visualization platforms, and experience with ETL/automation tools
Work Location: Hebbal, Bangalore (Karnataka)
Mode of Working: Hybrid (2-3 days in a week)
