The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager (m/f/*) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will specialize in introducing Thinsulate™ & Scotchgard™ solutions to apparel brands, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving co-branding marketing initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of the textile market, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of success in sales and account management.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Leads to introduce 3M Thinsulate™ & Scotchgard™ solutions to apparel brands, highlighting their unique benefits and applications.
Implements Collaboration with the APAC team, where most of the brand suppliers are located, to ensure seamless supply chain operations and timely delivery to factories.
Determines Directions & Strategies to drive partnerships with brands
Supports the Marketing team to drive for more co-branding marketing events, leveraging 3M's brand equity and expertise to create mutually beneficial promotions and campaigns.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Textile Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Significant experience in the textile & apparel market, with a proven track record of success in sales and account management.
Clearly goal-oriented, with a strong self-driven principle and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and compelling way.
Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data and make informed decisions to drive sales performance
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to meet with clients and suppliers.
Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Familiarity with 3M products and solutions, particularly Thinsulate and Scotchgard, is a plus.
Experience in the apparel industry, specifically with brands and retailers, would be beneficial.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Travel expectations - May include up to 20%
