The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Senior Specialist -Global Payroll, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. The Global Payroll Specialist will be responsible for supporting global payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and helping maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies across multiple countries. In this role, you will work closely with HR, Finance, payroll vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve payroll issues, improve processes, and deliver a high-quality employee experience.
This role offers a strong opportunity to help shape and grow payroll operations within a new Shared Services model. You will have hands-on ownership of multi-country global payrolls in an outsourced environment, working closely with external payroll providers to ensure operational excellence and consistency The role also includes vendor engagement and management across multiple countries and service providers, helping ensure service quality and effective issue resolution. Beyond payroll operations, this position offers opportunities to make a positive impact in the community through volunteer and service initiatives.
Your Skills and Expertise
- Provide full oversight of payroll activities for assigned global countries, ensuring outsourced providers deliver accurate and timely results
- Serve as the subject matter expert for country‑specific payroll regulations, tax rules, and compliance requirements
- Carry out detailed payroll reviews by comparing current outcomes with prior periods and validated data
- Oversee payroll tax submissions, statutory filings, and required payments
- Maintain and coordinate payroll schedules to ensure alignment across internal partners and external vendors
- Confirm accurate reporting and taxation of equity, cash, and non‑cash benefits
- Resolve employee pay questions with timely, clear communication
- Support audits with strong documentation, reliable data, and effective internal controls
- Identify discrepancies, risks, or inefficiencies and take ownership of driving them to resolution
- Contribute to process enhancements, standardization, and control improvements
- Partner with HR Technology and payroll vendors to refine systems and streamline workflows
- Explore emerging capabilities, including AI‑assisted validation and insight tools
- Collaborate with global payroll team members based across different regions
- Diploma or degree in Payroll, Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of payroll experience in a global payroll environment, preferred with a multinational company
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of work from start to finish
- Comfort with ambiguity

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience with Workday, ADP, and Strada.
- Experience supporting Global Payrolls across multiple countries and regions.
- Exposure to payroll operations in the Czech Republic, Finland, and UAE would be highly beneficial.
- Exposure to payroll automation, reporting, analytics, or AI-enabled payroll tools.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced global environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in the Czech language would be a significant advantage, particularly for supporting local stakeholders and payroll-related communications.
