Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead General Trade sales across Karnataka. The role is responsible for driving business growth through strong distributor management, retail expansion, and excellent in-store execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sales and business targets across the assigned territory.
- Manage distributors, super stockists, and General Trade channel operations.
- Expand retail coverage and improve product availability, visibility, and merchandising.
- Execute trade promotions, demand generation, and outlet activation programs.
- Build strong relationships with key retailers and drive outlet-level sales.
- Analyze market trends and sales data to identify growth opportunities.
- Coach and develop the frontline sales team to improve execution.
- Ensure timely settlement of distributor and trade claims.
- Spend significant time in the market to drive execution and strengthen customer relationships.
Preferred Profile
- 5–10 years of experience in General Trade sales within FMCG/Consumer Durables/Consumer Products.
- Strong experience in Distributor Management, Channel Sales, Retail Sales, and Trade Marketing.
- Good understanding of the distributor network, and retail landscape.
