Internal Auditor Specialist, Sumaré/SP

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

• Conducting and leading audits of moderate to high risk and complexity to ensure the accuracy of financial statements, adequacy of operational and internal controls, and identification of improvement opportunities.

• Participating in audit scoping and risk assessment.

• Analyzing data and selecting samples for testing processes to identify control gaps and areas of potential operational improvement.

• Documenting and summarizing audit findings and developing recommendations for process improvement.

• Communicating audit findings both orally and in written form to management.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting related areas.

• Experience as an Internal or External Auditor.

• Strong experience in Finance and/or Accounting areas.

• Experience performing audit testing, risk mapping, control assessments, and report preparation.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Advanced English and Spanish level (reading, speaking, listening and writing).

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience working as an Auditor in a Big 4 company.

• Professional accounting certifications including the CIA, CPA or CMA.

• Working knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies.

• Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis).

Work location:

• This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M plant in Sumaré.

• Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international.
