Your role and responsibilities:

You will work as a Senior Digital Solution Engineer I and be part of a global team in the Electrification Business Area, Smart Power Division and report to Analytics Chapter Lead. In this role, you will join a global team, responsible for the entire digital solution lifecycle. This includes understanding business processes, leveraging analytical techniques to extract insights from data, and developing innovative solutions that address business challenges and support growth in line with ABB guidelines.

As a Senior Digital Solution Engineer I, you will collaborate with various departments to understand their data and process needs and develop solutions that align with strategic objectives.


You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design & Develop Digital Solutions – Create and maintain applications using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), databases, SQL, and other technologies to build workflows, dashboards, and automation solutions aligned with ABB guidelines.

• Own End-to-End Solution Lifecycle – Manage the complete journey from requirement gathering and design through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of digital solutions.

• Collaborate for Business Optimization – Work with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, identify digitalization opportunities, translate business needs into technical specifications, and drive process improvement and automation.

• Ensure Quality & Continuous Improvement – Deliver high-quality solutions through rigorous testing, documentation, and best practices; provide ongoing support and troubleshooting; stay current with emerging technologies; and contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused team environment.

Qualifications for the role :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

• 7+ years of overall experience after graduation.

• Understanding of application development and analytics fundamentals.

• Knowledge of at least two programming/scripting languages

• Knowledge of Microsoft platforms including power apps, power automate and power bi

• Experience working with large databases

• Experience working in SAP is a plus

• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for bringing value to the business by automating work processes and increasing efficiency.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
