Your role and responsibilities

As IS Business Analyst for Applications and Process Integration for Mergers & Acquisitions in ABB Electrification Distribution Solution (ELDS) and Service (ELSE) you will support the consolidation and harmonization of acquired companies' business processes, applications and data into ABB's operating model. You will be working as part of the cross-functional project teams operating in an international environment and focusing on technology assessment, synergy identification and integration feasibility and planning for Business applications.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Process Mapping & Harmonization - documenting existing processes of acquired companies, aligning with ABB standards and defining future state, including redesign and optimization for efficiency

• Application & Landscape Assessment – analyzing application landscape, mapping applications to business functions and capabilities, assessing application maturity

• Integration scenarios – based on gathered information, taking the lead to evaluate relevant scenarios for applications – checking compatibility with ABB platforms, identifying redundancies and overlaps

• Transition support – evaluating data quality, taking the lead of the transition to new processes and applications, aiding with decommissioning/migration

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as Business Analyst, System Analyst, Application Management or similar in IT environment

• Experience with process mapping, including driving process optimization activities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Change management skills and experience

• Proactive mindset and strong self-organization skills

• Ability to effectively coordinate activities across various teams to deliver results

• Fluent spoken and written English

• Previous experience with SAP S4HANA, Mergers & Acquisitions or migration projects would be an advantage
