This position reports to

R&D Team Leader

Your responsibilities

  • Development of embedded software for medium voltage drives
  • Conduct multiple layer testing including hardware-in-the-loop simulations
  • Analysis of technical documentation and electrical schemes for drive systems and testing infrastructure
  • Conduct product troubleshooting in the lab and in the field
  • Effectively work with cross-functional teams including physics, control algorithms design, software and system engineering
  • Lead relevant design and development tasks; provide technical leadership; coordinate with other people
  • Occasional international travel to our R&D center, production sites and customers

Your background

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation and Robotics
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably with MVD; hands-on experience with embedded software development
  • Experience with C++ and GIT
  • Understanding of converter control theory or power electronics
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of continuous integration systems (Jenkins), Matlab and Simulink is an advantage
  • Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in an Agile team environment, with strong problem-analysis and solving skills
