This position reports to
R&D Team Leader
Your responsibilities
- Development of embedded software for medium voltage drives
- Conduct multiple layer testing including hardware-in-the-loop simulations
- Analysis of technical documentation and electrical schemes for drive systems and testing infrastructure
- Conduct product troubleshooting in the lab and in the field
- Effectively work with cross-functional teams including physics, control algorithms design, software and system engineering
- Lead relevant design and development tasks; provide technical leadership; coordinate with other people
- Occasional international travel to our R&D center, production sites and customers
Your background
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation and Robotics
- At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably with MVD; hands-on experience with embedded software development
- Experience with C++ and GIT
- Understanding of converter control theory or power electronics
- Good written and spoken English
- Knowledge of continuous integration systems (Jenkins), Matlab and Simulink is an advantage
- Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in an Agile team environment, with strong problem-analysis and solving skills
