Principal R&D Engineer (Solution Architect)

You will be working as Principal R&D Engineer (Solution Architect) and will be part of Process Automation business for Process Automation Digital division based in Mumbai, India. In this role you will be reporting to Digital Product Director and Enterprise Architect and will be responsible for designing and creating end-to-end solution architectures that align with customer needs, industry best practices and company standards. Developing comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, deployment plans and technical specifications.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborating with the sales team and clients during RFQ, RFP and project proposal stages to understand customer requirements and business objectives
• Developing comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, deployment plans and technical specifications
• Identifying and evaluating potential technologies, tools and frameworks that can be leveraged to build efficient and scalable solutions
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of solution architectures, providing guidance and technical oversight throughout the development lifecycle
• Conducting architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improving system performance, reliability and security
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in solution architecture

Your background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
• Minimum 15 to 20 years require in the Solution Designing, Solution Architecture, .Net, Azure, Angular, IOT, Python
• Experience with a wide range of technologies, including but not limited to IoT, bigdata, databases, web services, microservices, messaging systems and front-end frameworks
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, architectural patterns and best practices
• Proficient in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, preferably on platforms like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
