As a Production Engineering Specialist, be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way in Electrification area in Apodaca, MX. In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

This position reports to

Production Development Manager

Your responsibilities

• Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.
• Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.
• Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.
• Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.
• Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related.
• Knowledge of Lean Tools, Autocad
• Experience with Manufacturing Assembly Processes.
• Desirable NPI - New Product Implementation is a plus.
• 4-5 years of experience in similar positions.
• Previous experience as leadership.
• English Intermediate Advanced - Conversational.
