Local Division HR Business Partner

You will be working as Local Division HR Business Partner and will be part of Motion Business Area for Large Motors & Generators division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Regional Division President – MOLM and will be responsible for partnering with managers to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes, ensuring effective and sustainable workplace relations, and by providing HR support for a defined team or location. Accountable for the overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the functions and shared services.

Your responsibilities

  • Contributing and understanding to the overall business and people strategy
  • Determining and delivering the best approach in area of responsibility
  • Executing the HR priorities while adding value to the business
  • Providing leadership and guidance to ensure that the area of responsibility is appropriately organized, staffed, skilled and directed
  • Coaching, motivating and developing talent to build an effective, capable and high performing team
  • Executing of HR Processes including culture, employee engagement, talent acquisition, people reviews, succession planning, capability and workforce planning, career pathing, leadership and functional competency assessments and similar other HR activities. (Organization Design (including HCM), Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, Values in Action, Learning & Development, People Performance, Executive Compensation, Employee Compensation, Benefits, Global Mobility, Mergers & Acquisitions, Labor Relations, People Analytics, Onboarding, and Policy/Procedure Administration. Involvement in Employee Life Cycle)
  • Ensuring compliance with integrity, laws, regulations and agreements within the HR area
  • Planning employee and manager communication activities and ensuring the implementation

Your background

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in relevant filed
  • Minimum 10 years in an HR business partner role or similar HR experience, preferably in a global and multi-dimensional organization
  • Experience in developing long-term plans and methods to support business to meet its goals via professional leadership. Also, hands on attitude and ability to ensure that agreed actions have been implemented in practice is important
  • A business-oriented and dynamic approach in managing HR topics
  • Strong background of leading HR agenda and change successfully
  • Capability to communicate openly, understand different perspectives and find common ground
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
