Working as a Associate Project Engineer, you will be the authority for various systems engineering projects in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in South Korea, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals. In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.
Your responsibilities
- Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors
- Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards
- Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline
- Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in {insert state/country/region} and elsewhere {optional – specify travel requirements}
- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project
Your background
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical and mechanical majors or a similar field
- Over 4 years of experience in Press System, working as Site Engineer in Automotive industry
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including CAD, C-language
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Intermediate level in English (written and oral)
- Ability to travel to domestic/international sites (> 50%)
