Tax Analyst

As a Tax Analyst for Motion business, you will be responsible for executing back office and other administrative activities within tax and general accounting in line with the defined strategies, policies and procedures. Reporting to Finance FO Manager, you will be assisting statutory audit in preparing the documents required (including reconciliation of tax GL account balances). This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Your responsibilities

• Performing regular reconciliation and clearance of the open items of tax related GL accounts with collaboration with GBS IN Tratax team
• Performing T2 tax calculation on quarterly basis and post the calculation to SAP
• Performing monthly reconciliation of tax reporting against GL account balances and raise the journal adjustment to match the tax reporting figures
• Performing clearance of tax related payment transaction that has been booked in SAP on a regular basis
• Assisting local FO team in reviewing the percentage of WHT deduction (transaction services) in Readsoft related to invoice from vendor
• Collecting and archiving the foreign vendors' document (COD and DGT form) on a regular basis
• Assisting tax manager for tax discussion and problem solving to improve tax logic skill and assisting tax audit activities
• Assisting the tax manager in preparing the supporting documents for tax court and other requests from tax authorities

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least 3-5 years of experience in tax and general accounting
• Meticulous and detail oriented
• Computer literacy and competency in Microsoft office tools
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
