Your role and responsibilities

• Managing operational supplier quality, including validating the supplier's quality systems and processes
• Leading and promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, noncompliant products, etc
• Managing the production line quality and supporting resolution of critical parts, product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams
• Demonstrating ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and acting accordingly
• Ensuring adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results
• Managing relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensuring alignment

Qualifications for the role

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in relevant field
• Should have working experience in supplier quality, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Proficient in quality tools like FMEA, 7 QC tools, 5S, 5Why, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SPC, DMAIC & 8D Root cause analysis
• Experience in handling of mechanical component validation
• Experience in using of various measuring tools
