Your role and responsibilities

• Researching, compiling and issuing special reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence, etc.
• Being responsible for different communication tasks within the area of responsibility, ensuring knowledge and information is shared and keeping others up to date
• Implementing ABB processes and initiates continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
• Acting as point of contact for internal/external enquiries by phone and email, initiating action and making judgments about urgency of issues. Providing confidential support to individual executives and/or management team members
• Coaching and may have solid line manager responsibility for more junior administration staff
• Arranging business critical internal/external events, including for example travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodation, conference registration, visiting speakers, Spares handling, Storage settling etc.
• Providing financial support on a department/project level, monitoring budget spend, raising and approving requisitions/invoices, etc.

Qualifications for the role

• Technical education, major in engineering with subject of mechanical, electrical or other relevant industrial engineering
• Willingness to commit to achieve company goals and wide long-perspective personal development attitude within ABB are the first prerequisites
• Good, analytical decision making and problem solving skills are mandatory requirements, as well as ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and work under pressure of them.
• Understanding of international technical project environment and the importance of being the key supplier to the end customer
• Good, captivating and to-the-point output in daily communication, as well as in negotiations and presentations
• Fluent in English is required both written and spoken
