Your role and responsibilities

  • Conduct test protocols both in manufacturing and final quality inspection, as assigned, to ensure that products and systems meet the specified requirements and Customer expectations.
  • Support quality control activities of supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, as applicable in the local organization.
  • Assist in specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation.
  • Report quality issues, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.
  • Collaborate in improving existing testing protocols, tools, jigs and benches, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and/or reliability of test outcomes.
  • Evaluate quantitative metrics that provide descriptive data for the determination of compliance with requirements.
  • Utilizes safety systems to perform work, resulting in an accident-free workplace.
  • Notifies others when unsafe situations are observed and works with local Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams to improve the safety systems.
  • Trains local operational teams in quality assurance and testing routines and verifies that tests are performed as a part of the specified control plans.

Qualifications for the role

  • Diploma in mechanics or electrotechnics.
  • Good knowledge of electrical and wiring diagrams, 2D technical drawings and failure analysis methodologies (DMAIC-8D-Ishikawa). Basic knowledge of MV circuit breakers.
  • Base knowledge of English (written and spoken) and good knowledge of Italian.
  • Base knowledge of SAP system and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Six-sigma white or yellow belt certification (preferred).
  • Teamwork, Problem Solving and Leadership skills in cross-functional problem management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external Customers.
