Your role and responsibilities

Mission: - Will be responsible for the customers, which are encompassed within assigned market segments, and promote your responsible products from the technical side to meet the customer’s demands. - Will be a key person in the efforts to maximize ABB’s orders and profitability and grow our business area. Scope of products: - Electric motor, variable speed drive system, transformer Role: Marketing - Promote and follow up on the product portfolio alignment to the market demands and local business unit’s strategy. - Develop new customers by collaborating with front-end sales to expand our business. - Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships via technical value propositions to understand customer needs - Recognize our strength in the global market and learn market trends and applications to promote our products effectively Tendering & Order Execution - Prepare the technical proposal to align with the customer’s demands. - Collaborate with each production unit to find a suitable technical offering and solve the technical difficulties. - Collaborate with other local sales units and other business units to promote our product to the customers. - Conduct the technical negotiations with our direct customers, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Contractor), and end-users located in Japan and overseas. - Secure the order by working with the front-end sales to achieve our budget. - Drive the ordered project from the technical side, collaborating with the project manager in order to collect the revenue at the proper time. Development - Expand personal and technical knowledge/skills for additional products/areas - Provide feedback to all stakeholders

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum 3 years track record in sales or engineering section to demonstrate capability to achieve business results. B2B business experience (Preferred).
  • Knowledge of the Technical of the electric motor variable speed drive system (Preferred)
  • Business level Japanese (Must)
  • Business level English (Must)
  • University degree (Engineering background preferred)
