Your role and responsibilities

In this role, We are looking for Specialist: - software professional to join our Industrial Automation Digital Organization. The role requires to be experience and responsible for making sure that any Enterprise scale Solution and business strategy uses proper technology systems architecture to achieve its goals. Position will be responsible for cataloging, developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing overall enterprise architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to adequately perform the business and technology activities. This role involves collaborate closely to design, implement, and maintain Genix Platform & Industrial Solutions with Integration to operational systems at the plant and factory level, ensuring seamless communication, data exchange, and control of industrial processes for improved efficiency, reliability, and safety. The work model for the role is : #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to Process Automation business for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore, India

Qualifications for the role

• 12+ years of experience as an Industrial OT Integration Digital Specialist with below expertise:
• Proficiency in industrial automation protocols such as OPC UA (Unified Architecture), OPC DA (Data Access), OPC HDA (Historical Data Access), and TCP/IP for communication between L2/L3 systems using industrial protocols.
• Experience with database systems, especially those commonly used in industrial environments such as SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) or time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB, Pro-metheus).
• Expertise on ABB Solutions e.g. CPM Plus, RT DB, 800 XA, DCS, Knowledge Manager, MES
• Knowledge of middleware solutions commonly used in industrial automation, such as MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) or AMQP (Advanced Message Queuing Protocol), fieldbus protocols such as Profibus, Modbus, or Ethernet/IP.
• Familiarity with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems , Historians, and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) software used for monitoring and controlling industrial pro-cesses.
• Knowledge of network segmentation and VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) configuration, cybersecurity best practices for protecting industrial networks from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• From Advance OT Data Analyst/Engineer point of view:
• Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques, data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics techniques for optimizing process efficiency and predicting equipment failures.
• Familiarity with industrial IoT (Internet of Things) technologies and sensors for collecting data from equipment and machinery on the Plant floor.
• Understanding of data security and privacy considerations in industrial environments, especial-ly when integrating legacy systems with newer technologies
• Education: BE/BTech from CSE,IS/IT,EC etc
