Your role and responsibilities

To strengthen our Industrial Automation Analytics team, we are looking for a R&D Engineer with Industry Domain Expertise and experience in the Metal Industry domain to build an Industry specific Enterprise Digital Solution Platform as well as focused industrial analytics applications The work model for the role is : #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to Process Automation business for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for below: • Conceptualize designs for value engineering scenarios to incorporate in digital transformation solutions in the Metal Industry like Steel, Aluminum, Copper etc • Work closely with Customers and Business Units to architect and develop customer centric solutions tailored to their requirements • Agile development of digital solution ‘Proof of Concepts’ to effectively articulate the Customer Value Proposition • Provide industry specific domain insights for rich proposal responses by articulating customer value proposition

Qualifications for the role

• Education - M. Tech / B. Tech in Chemical / Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy
• 5-10 years of overall work experience with significant portion in the Metal Industry Domain
• Strong experience in Metal Industry Operations (metal processing), process optimization and investigation in process related failures.
• Process performance analysis, risk assessment and efficiency / performance assessment of critical process equipment (Furnaces, Casting, Rolling mills etc.)
• Understanding of Industrial Analytics and Enterprise Digital transformation solutions, strong understanding of Industry Benchmarks
• Create Functional Specifications for innovative Digital Solution & develop Base models together with their initial validation
• Agile development of customer centric prototypes / ‘Proof of Concepts’ for focused digital solutions
