Your role and responsibilities

Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the ABB MOSE division in Santiago, Chile. You will be mainly accountable for: • Service the installed base of ABB MOSE motors, low and medium voltage electric motors. • Perform service tasks such as routine maintenance (L1, L2, L3, L4), installation and commissioning of equipment • Utilize the LEAP program to inspect, analyze, and optimize the maintenance of motors. • Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products. • Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points. • Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. • Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future. Qualifications for the role

  • You have 2 - 5 years of technical experience in electrical motor service/maintenance or similar positions.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Electrical Motor maintenance (L1, L2, L3, L4), Low and Medium Voltage
  • Possess knowledge of LEAP (Life Expectancy Analysis Program), power equipment, motors analysis and motors vibration analysis
  • You are at ease communicating in English fluently
  • You are innovative around flexibility and availability to address critical situations.
  • You have availability and the willingness to travel and work giving support abroad to others ABB global customers sites
  • You have an elevated level of Service Attitude
  • You have an elevated customer satisfaction mindset focus
