This position reports to

Procurement Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. - Direct material sourcing in approved supplier base including RFQ, cost analyze and benchmark to meet new product development and project cost and delivery time target. - Support new product development in supply chain to develop material/component source on cost and time. - Drive for continuous supplier innovation and material cost reduction with variety of initiatives both technical and commertial to meet business and functional target. - Responsible for suplier/process/material qualification, supplier contract with defined template and procedure. - Responsible for supplier performance management,evaluation and drive for continuous improvement. - Implement category strategy to best utilize group purchasing power and reduce risk.

Qualifications for the role

• University with major in engineering
• 5 years of sourcing/quality control/engineering/R&D, manufacturing industry, preferred in electrical equipment.
• Electrical product raw material, manufacturing process knowledge;
• Cost analyze, organize bidding;
• Good negotiation skills;
• Contract and legal knowledge;
• English reading, writing, listening & speaking proficiency
• High integrity, strong sense of responsibility
• Positive work attitude,willing to face challenge,
• Good team worker
• Pursuing excellence
