R&D Global Unit Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions. The work model for the role is: Hybris #LI Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business Process control Platform division (PCP) in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for: • Demonstrates solid competence in technologies, tools and methods in own specialist area through solving complex industrial problems. • Maintains recognized expertise in specific area by externally reviewing current technologies. • Determines effective applications, equipment, and methods to develop, market or manufacture new products or new software to respond to customer requirements cost effectively. • Contributes to the development of strategic technology plans and project portfolio in own organization. • Performs a variety of complex technology/engineering assignments, which typically require the use of advanced and innovative techniques.

Qualifications for the role

• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics from a reputed institution.
• Required 4 to 8 years relevant experience in software development.
• Proficiency in the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Framework (4.5 and above), .NET Core (2.2 and above), and .NET Standard (2.0).
• Strong hands-on experience in software development using C#.
• Strong knowledge of backend development and experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) for orchestration and deployment of applications.
• Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, software modeling, UML, and information modeling.
• Experience with Azure and cloud services and microservices architecture.
