This position reports to

Modernization Portfolio Manager, Motion Services

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for defining and managing the ACS2000 service offering to the targeted segments throughout there lifecycle and of ABB's offerings to targeted market segments and the offerings throughout their lifecycle, in line with market needs and division strategy and targets. You will support business results by overseeing each step involved in the offering lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. The work model for this role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid This role is open globally, but location is set in ABB Offices in Poland, Switzerland, China or US. You will be mainly accountable for: Lead market intelligence analysis, identify portfolio gaps, and define new offering plans to support sustainable growth. Manage the lifecycle of service, including performance metrics, enhancements, cost reductions, and phase-outs to maximize profitability. Set targets, monitor costs, and collaborate with operations to maximize competitiveness and profitability. Conduct customer need and value analysis, plans roadmaps, and follows up on portfolio performance. Prioritize and coordinate new offering development projects, ensuring targets are met and cross-functional teams are aligned. Initiate and drive product market communication strategies, including product launch planning and implementation. Manage market scenarios with channel partners, define pricing strategies, and ensure correct pricing across regions. Track and analyze offering performance, oversee inventory levels, and ensure the ability to meet customer orders.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, Marketing or Sales
  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Management or similar role
  • Knowledge of ABB MV products, especially of ACS2000, is considered as a plus
  • Knowledge of English both written and spoken
  • Customer oriented and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate in an international environment
