Your role and responsibilities

This position is part of the ELIP (Formerly T&B) sales organization and its main objective is to meet or exceed the sales goals and objectives defined by the District Sales Manager. The specialist implements strategies developed jointly by the Vice President of Sales and the Regional Sales Manager. The incumbent of this position is responsible for specifying, selling and becoming the specialist for industrial, OEM and commercial products of the entire ELIP portfolio, more specifically in the Eastern Quebec region. The Sales Specialist (OEM & Industrial) is responsible for formulating the customer sales plan and executing it in the given region, while supporting other sales colleagues across ABB divisions. The incumbent of this position must also identify business opportunities, record these opportunities in the company’s CRM system and maintain the opportunities by precisely following the procurement process of each of its customers.

Qualifications for the role

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales and proven experience
  • College diploma in technology or business administration, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of low and medium voltage electrical systems and equipment.
  • Good knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Good knowledge of the low voltage offering in the OEM and industrial market.
  • Know the electrical distribution network in Quebec.
  • French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
