Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries business unit from Mexico to North America. You will be mainly accountable for: • Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors. • Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations. • Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects. • Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations. Qualifications for the role

• You have 8+ years of experience in P&P processes (deep knowledge).
• You have Control Systems knowledge and practical experience.
• You have experience in system configuration and software installation for DCS applications.
• You have travel availability and flexibility.
• You are at ease communicating in English in an advanced level.
• If you have experience with System 800xA technology is an asset.
• Bachelor´s Degree in engineering completed.
