Sales Support Manager - Technical Sales

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to designing promotional strategy in line with the sales strategy. Each day, you will ensure the planning and timely execution of promotional activities with appropriate technical content for the assigned target audience. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Technical Design and Promotions team proactively and ensuring a high level of technical knowledge. You will be mainly accountable for: • Aligning the promotional strategy and activities plan with the sales strategy and sales activities plan. • Ensuring that the Promotions team supports the Sales organization by providing on-time and quality technical support and technical training to the target audience resulting in high customer satisfaction. • Creating business opportunities by providing support and fostering collaborations with key decision-makers, both within buying and non-buying segments. • Providing support to customers, particularly consultants, engineering firms, and architect offices, in project development and technical problem- solving.

Qualifications for the role

• B.S. degree in engineering or similar field; preferably electrical
• Preferred experience in the electrical distribution industry.
• Fluent in English; speaking and writing.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel, Visio.
• Any previous field, plant or design engineering in electrical power systems or industrial facilities a plus.
• Basic knowledge of industry codes and standards; ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NEMA, NFPA 70E, UL preferred.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
