Sales Support Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and need for specific features or products. Each day, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships. Main stakeholders are {insert main stakeholder groups if available}. You will be mainly accountable for: • Implementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, educational material, and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group. • Creating plans for target audience visits and conducting regular status reviews, including analyzing and deriving the insights and output of the visits. • Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their needs and to ensure they are well-informed of the ABB product, systems, services offering, features, and benefits. • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques. Qualifications for the role

• B.S. degree; preferably electrical engineering with a minimum of three years of experience in the electrical distribution or manufacturing industry.
• Fluent in English; speaking and writing.
• Previous field, plant or design engineering in electrical power systems at major oil and gas companies, electric utilities or industrial facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards; ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NEMA, NFPA 70E, UL preferred.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
