Master Schedule Planner

Your role and responsibilities

InIn this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability. You will also showcase your expertise by releasing manufacturing work orders. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division supporting the manufacturing plant in Richmond, VA. You will be mainly accountable for: • Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule from the production plan. • Executing daily plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules. • Establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan. • Communicating with all the functional areas in the factory to identify potential impediments for the production schedule execution and improvement.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or similar field.
• 2-3 years of experience in production planning, material planning or similar role (Engineering To Order manufacturing experience is a plus).
• SAP or similar ERP knowledge.
• Power BI knowledge preferred.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
