Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues. The work model for the role is: #Li_hybrid This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Pune, India. You will be mainly accountable for: •Responsible for developing Paint Upgrade business in India – Paint Upgrade SAS Business •This business will be in addition to Paint upgrade business captured by regional system Manager & India System manager. •This includes analyzing all paint Robots & Equipment's installed base in India and identify total business potential. •To study India installed base (in terms of Paint Installations) and target potential customers. •To analyze total Business potential and have strategies & plans in place for continuous improvement in market penetration. •To develop Paint upgrade business as New Business area (additional Business in addition to existing SAS business) •Focus on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the Paint Upgrade Service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units. •Build long term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.
Qualifications for the role
- You must have experience in paint robots & applications. Experience of PLC systems, logics, communications, Field Buses and other robotic peripheral equipment’s.
- Ability to be proactive to support customer needs. You must identify & pursue sales leads for additional Robotic and system opportunities. Ability to work autonomously and make sound judgments. You have 10-12 years years of experience in Paint Processes & Systems
- Possess an enhanced knowledge should have knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) communications, Field Buses, and other robotic peripheral equipment’s. Able to collaborate with other service functions, INPPA team & Global SAS team
- Should be qualified BE/B. Tech with relevant experience in robotics customer service field for eight plus years. Good knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical software and Hardware.
- You needs to have ability to communicate gently with customers (external and internal) in high-pressure situations and maintain strong customer relationship.
- You will have to travel across all regions for Service Sales – Travel time >70%. You should be ready for option to relocate if needed in future.
