Engineering Manager II

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi. You will be mainly accountable for: • Creation of Class I, II and III drawings • Creation of Bills of Materials • Selection of adequate Electrical Equipment. • Assist customer on questions/comments regarding his product. • Coaches new engineers to learn the products faster. • Support local manufacturing team with design questions.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (desirable), electro-mechanical engineer, control or automation engineer, mechatronic
• 5 yrs experience in electrical design of Switchgears, Protection and Controls
• PLC Software design Experience (ABB/GE/Emerson/AllenBradley)
• Electrical Design software as E-Plan or similar
• Advanced English
• PLC/HMI/SCADA exposure
• Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC standards preferred
• Communication Networking knowledge preferred
