Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Control Platform Division in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for: • • Security Integration - Integrating Security practices and tools into SDLC • Automation – Automate security controls, data protection and vulnerability management systems in deployment pipelines • Monitoring – Continuously monitor applications and infrastructure for potential vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation efforts • Tool development – Develop or implement tools to assist in detection, prevention and analysis of security threats • Participate in incident response and forensic analysis of cybersecurity events • Create and Maintain Azure Devops Build & Release pipelines for automated deployments
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelors/ Masters degree in computer science, cybersecurity or related field.
- 2-6 years of experience in cybersecurity & Devops practices.
- Familiarity in Cybersecurity requirements, information security frameworks & standards applicable.
- Experience in Azure Devops Build & Release Pipelines to enable continuous deployment and continuous testing of the Ability Platform.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies in the context of an Agile software lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills
- Nice to have: programming skills in python, knowledge of .NET Core, Docker technologies, REST, messaging and other communication protocols, Devops methodology, ISTQB Certification.
