This position reports to

Regional Sales Director - Service North

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead regional/local marketing and sales activities for products, systems, services within the defined industry segment(s). Each day, you will ensure that the related business substantially increases sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the definition of industry group footprint (market presence, execution standards, and delivery model). The work model for the role is: #LI - Remote This role is contributing to the Motion Service division in the Midwest and Northeast US region. You will be mainly accountable to: • Provide proposal support to the district offices within the region for service sales in general, and the following product lines in particular to preventative maintenance, commissioning, replacement machines, extension, upgrade and retrofits, and advances services. • Prepare proposals, with a full understanding of customer requirements, ABB technical abilities, competitor offerings and market conditions and relevant full cost models with approved margins to ensure profitability. Work with District Offices for them to increase proposal development. Closely work with US4131 Operations, SRU’s and others for full cost understanding. Provide first level technical support and guidance for District. • Provide MOSE (Motion Business - Motion Service) MG Service expertise in customer interaction jointly with district offices. Support District Office opportunities by analyzing targeted installed base and ensure penetration and interaction with end-users. • Work with District Offices to increase focus on end-user sales. Support District Office sales on specific end-user pursuits Prospect and execute end-user sales pursuits independent of District Office. Assist District Office with Ease of Doing Business and Customer initiatives. Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor degree and 10 years of related sales experience required.
  • Previous experience with motors or generators required.
  • Previous experience with business to business sales experience required.
  • Travel up to 50% required in mid to east coast northern region.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
