Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Professional preparation, implementation and documentation of commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting • Coordination of the logistics of resources and spare parts for all service tasks on site. • Troubleshooting potential device errors, proactively carrying out measures to prevent errors and informing internal partners. • Acting independently with a keen sense of your colleagues and the business – in line with our ABB core values of safety and integrity.
Qualifications for the role
- a completed electrical engineering education (e.g. apprenticeship, HTL, etc.), preferably with initial professional experience or proof of competence - ideally you have already gained experience in the field of low-voltage circuit breakers
- Fluent knowledge of German is mandatory, good technical English, both written and spoken
- Good MS Office skills and basic knowledge of network technology
- A strong customer and service orientation
- Personally, you score points with good decision-making and contact skills, high resilience and a confident appearance. Reliability and punctuality, as well as the willingness to undergo permanent further training, are a matter of course for you. You are willing to travel intensively in Germany and have a B driving licence.
