Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will manage and coordinate cybersecurity aspects in development projects, shaping strategic direction and future technologies. Acting as the primary contact for cybersecurity in R&D, software development, and product engineering, you’ll drive secure designs and implementations. This hybrid role focuses on MyControlSystem (MCS) and Cyber Security Workplace (CSWP), service-oriented products that help customers analyze control system performance, software integrity, security, and lifecycle status. Your main responsibilities: • Define cybersecurity requirements and ensure secure coding standards throughout the development lifecycle. • Design and implement security architectures and controls for systems and applications. • Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability management, and automated security analyses. • Support security incidents, analyze their root causes, and develop remediation strategies. • Integrate security aspects into development processes and promote secure coding practices through training and workshops.

Qualifications for the role

• Proficient in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, with strong knowledge of secure coding, network security, encryption, access management, and secure software development practices.
• Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, vulnerability scanners (e.g., SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, Nessus), and familiarity with security frameworks like OWASP Top Ten, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, focusing on the security of containerized applications.
• Relevant certifications (CEH, CISSP, OSCP) are a plus, alongside strong communication skills to explain security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
