Your role and responsibilities
ABB Canada is looking for a driven sales expert to join our Electrification Services Sales team in the Ontario Region -Sudbury territory. The right individual will be a hunter of opportunities and new cus-tomers while cultivating long term relations with key and strategic accounts. By providing full solu-tions to end users and partners you will increase sales orders, profitability and customer loyalty and satisfaction. The best candidate will have an aggressive sales approach targeting key segments and customers, fostering C-Level relations. By offering the full Services portfolio you will identify opportu-nities to assist your customers with the Full Lifecycle Management of their MV and LV assets. • Business Development and Customer Relations: Grow the service business in the Ontario-Sudbury region by developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, posi-tioning ABB as a trusted advisor. • Strategic Planning and Team Collaboration: Lead the development of strategies and proposals in collaboration with sales and proposal teams, and build long-term strategic account and re-gional sales plans. • Sales and Marketing Activities: Manage the opportunity pipeline, provide sales presentations, participate in promotional activities and trade shows, and leverage digital tools and social media to find new customers and build ABB's brand. • Market Analysis and Safety Focus: Monitor economic variables to service customer needs and gain market share, while maintaining a strong focus on safety. • Personal Attributes and Industry Knowledge: Be a self-starter with the ability to work inde-pendently and in a team, possess in-depth knowledge of the electrical industry, and have strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications for the role
- Electrical Engineer or equivalent experience. 5+ years’ experience in the industry
- Understand medium and low voltage electrical infrastructure which includes switchgear, MCCs, transformers and related equipment.
- Ability to utilize all Microsoft tools; PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams etc
- Be able to sell services; Consultative Studies, Engineering, Digital Solutions, Modernization, Maintenance and all other aspects of the Electrification portfolio.
- Familiar with a CRM, specifically Sales Force. Ensure constant and consistent management of Customer and Opportunity information
- Driven Sales experience with the ability to build new relations with customers as well as con-tinue to grow and foster existing relations
