Your role and responsibilities
You will be working as Service Operations Manager and will be the part of Service Robotic business area based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. In this role you will be reporting to The Service Manager and will be responsible for developing business action plans for the unit(s) aligned with Division/Business Unit/Product Group strategy and targets, monitoring implementation and tracking any deviations for corrective action. • Prepareing annual budget, overseeing progress and determining actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources. • Developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout operations, ensuring that the organization take an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations on quality, service levels, lead time and has a full understanding and culture of continuous improvement behaviors, methodology and processes. • Maintaining compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations while monitoring and reporting progress and results, assessing risks and safety hazards and implementing plans to ensure people and equipment safety. • Providing support to sales staff to improve understanding of customer requirements in order to identify both potential constraints and solutions to these requirements from an operational point of view. • Creating and maintaining a positive work environment for the company, ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, directed, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. • Overviewing procurement processes including guidance to vendor management, logistics optimization, supplier management and audits. • Managing the ABB training center, Maintaining and Implementing new training courses to maximize class fill rates. • Managing Spare Parts Stock level’s, Inventory cycle counts, Inventory Management, Daily Shipping & Receiving.
Qualifications for the role
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
- 5+ Years Managing.
- Operations Experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Conflict resolution management.
- Good knowledge of production techniques, processes and philosophies.
- Knowledge in Robotics.
- SAP, Excel Knowledge.
- Fluency in French.
