HR Operational Services Team Lead (2 years maternity cover)

In this role, you’d have the chance to work in numerous global projects and lead a small Hungarian team to successfully support ABB employees. HR Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
• Supervise the team and ensure HR processes are delivered in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with standard process flows • Act as subject matter expert in the team and work on complex issues or cases which are escalated for resolution • Take direct responsibility for monthly payroll closing and contract management with the payroll providers • Monitor accuracy of transaction processing and quality of data • Oversee analysis of HR transactions and highlights discrepancies/anomalies for correction • Identify and initiate the implementation of best practices and process improvements to increase efficiency and drive productivity gains • Ensure continuous legal and data protection compliance of the HR processes and document templates used • Ensure a positive working relationship within the team and with external customers by measuring customer/ employee satisfaction and building on results • Deliver HR Service support to the HR community, managers and employees, showing a customer service mindset and a proactive way of working • Conduct performance reviews and provide regular coaching and training to the team
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Human Resources) and minimum 3 years of experience in the HR admin field
- Familiarity with designing, maintaining and executing HR operational processes
- Experience in HR administration type roles (ideally in a shared service environment)
- Strong experience working in HR with Hungarian legislation
- Ability to lead a small team (experience is a plus)
- Strong project management skills and experience leading cross functional teams in a multinational environment
- Fluent in English and Hungarian
- Strong communication skills, and experience in maintaining ongoing effective communication to a diverse audience
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build partnerships on all levels of the organization
