Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team. The work model for the role is: onsite/hybrid. This role is contributing to the Industrial Automation Business in Bangalore Region. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team. The work model for the role is: onsite/hybrid. This role is contributing to the Industrial Automation Business in Bangalore Region. • Understating the features, developing test cases and test execution for web/desktop products in IAEN Service industry • Work with Project Managers to understand scope, features and estimates Testing and Automation effort for new projects. • Plan Testing activities with local and remote teams along with the Test Lead • Collaborate with development teams; provide inputs in product meetings to create high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets. • Should have experience in manual testing as well automation Testing using relevant tools. • Should manage Test cases and Test results and Bugs In Azure DevOps. • Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work. • Finding new ways of solving problems by following your ideas, creating hypotheses, and defining ways to validate them.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in defining Test strategy , Test planning, execution and test automation . (e.g.: Selenium, TextComplete). Experience in API & non-functional testing.
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in TFS & Microsoft testing tools (MTM, Test controller, Test Agents), have 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of interfacing FTP, TCP/IP, OPC-UA/DA.
• Programing Skill: C#, Python, PowerShell scripts will be added advantage.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• You are passionate about good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Degree in BE / B. Tech in Computer Science/ Electrical or/Electronics and communication / Electronics and Instrumentation.
