Your role and responsibilities

As a Software Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, focusing on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our embedded operating system running on our PLCs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers and quality engineers, to develop and execute test plans, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement in our software development processes. Key Responsibilities: • Test Development: Design and maintain automated and manual test cases for embedded systems. • Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and collaborate on resolving software defects. • Documentation: Maintain accurate test cases, results, and reports. • Collaboration: Work with teams on software requirements, design, and architecture.

Qualifications for the role

• Education: Technical school education, preferably Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Preferable experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on embedded systems.
• Programming: Experience in C and C#.
• Embedded Systems: Familiarity with RTOS and PLCs.
• CI/CD & Automation: Experience with Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Ranorex).
• Industry Standards: Knowledge of industrial automation standards (IEC 61131).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
