Your role and responsibilities
In this role, In this role you will be responsible to drive the implementation and adoption of IS Crisis Management Practice across the organization, including business areas (BAIS), senior executives and deliver improved Process maturity and assuring Organization from improved efficiency of dealing with Crisis scenarios. The work model for the role is #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the IS Services in Bangalore Location. You will be mainly accountable for: • Implement Crisis management and improve Process maturity and adoption • Maintain/develop/improve/ build awareness and understanding of ABB Core IS Cri-sis Management Framework • Implement/maintain Crisis Management tool • Maintain Crisis Management Handbook • Support Crisis Management during crisis events, collects input for the design and improvement of a process • Cooperate and align with Group Crisis Management Process Owner • Selection, nomination & regularly refresh trainings of people for the core Crisis Management team • Plan and perform simulations/ drills with the core crisis management team members at quarterly intervals • Work towards continual improvement of the crisis framework and tool by seeking constant feedback and through user experience research
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline. Master’s Degree pre-ferred
- Above 7 years of relevant experience
- Above 5 years of experience in crisis management within global environments
- Passionate about Business Continuity management practice
- Good understanding of Business Continuity Management
- Good influence skills to drive transformation across the whole IS community
- Advanced experience on Crisis Governance, management & reporting
- Experience of being a Change Agent challenging conventional thinking, approach and methodology and driving improvements
- English proficiency is critical for this role
