IS Service Owner for Sales Configurators

Your role and responsibilities

Are you passionate about technology and innovation? Do you have a strong background in software development and application architecture? We are excited to announce the creation of a new team dedicated to developing and maintaining a world class sales configurators platform. We are looking for talented individual who are enthusiastic about collaboration, eager for professional growth, and ready to make a significant impact. In this role you will take an active part in the design, development and maintenance of the future sales configurators' platform . Making sure that it adhere to the business requirements, ABB IS security/compliance policies and standards. You will closely collaborate with business process owners, functional analysts , solutions architects and other IS teams to assure target solution support the division business strategy. Responsibilities: • Lead, guide and mentorship team members. • Develop software that meets the requirement specification • Contribute to the solution and application architecture design of the sales configurator's platform • Oversee the development process and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of software projects • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. • Drive innovation and foster a culture of creativity within the team. • Ensure solution stays complaint with relevant ABB and external regulations • Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges throughout the development lifecycle

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the software development process.
• Experience in programming languages: C# (mandatory); At least two of the following: Java, Visual Basic, JavaScript, Python
• Experience in relational databases technology – MS SQL Server and T-SQL is preferred
• Knowledge of security standards and protocols, authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Proven experience with MS Azure technology stack
• Experience in developing enterprise solutions with complex integrations
• Proficiency in application architecture, design patterns, application profiling and optimization
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
